Welcome to the Dallas County Technical Center

The Dallas County Technical Center is located at 33 Vo Tech Road in Louisburg, Missouri.  Students from Buffalo, Skyline, Hermitage, WheatlandWeaubleauHumansville, Fair Play and Halfway Schools participate in Career and Technical Programs which include Auto Mechanics, Collision Repair Technology, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Graphic Arts, Health Science, and Welding,

DCTC SkillsUSA Students Perform Well at District

The Dallas County Technical Center SkillsUSA members participated in district competition during the month of February. Students participated in skill competitions, leadership competitions and written tests in their career education field. AM students are pictured at the top left.  PM students are pictured below.

Dallas County Technical Center SkillsUSA Officers '16-'17
Dallas County Technical Center SkillsUSA officers for 2016-2017 were installed recently.  SkillsUSA has the motto “preparing for leadership in the world of work” and provides students the opportunity to build teamwork and communication abilities required for today’s workforce.


The AM officers are pictured top left as follows: Kristen Breshears (parliamentarian), Sierra Rutherford (reporter), Whitney Skopec (secretary), Isabell Waltman (president), Pantera Mettler (treasurer), Cierra McDaniel (historian), and Michael Harmon (vice president).

The PM officers include Joshua Wisdom (president), Joshua Hessee (vice president), Mehala Keller (secretary), Cody Corlew (treasurer), Austin Miller (parliamentarian), Lochlainn Derks (reporter), and Chris Pierce (historian).
Improvements and Changes Occur at D.C.T.C. for ’16 – ‘17
New Program Added
Based on stakeholder input, a new program has been added to Dallas County Technical Center starting this year.  The program is called Criminal Justice and is being taught by retired police officer Mr. Michael Castrodale.
New Health Occ. Teachers
The Health Occupations program has new instructors in both the first and second year sections.  Health Occupations I will be taught by Mrs. Melanie Ryan, RN while Health Occupations II is being instructed by Mrs. Kari Bliss, RN. 
New Tech. Center Sign
Meanwhile, the appearance of the facility has been improved by a new sign on the intersection of Vo-Tech Road and Highway 64 (pictured top left).
